Overview

Neat Acoustics Ltd. Is a specialist manufacturer of Hi Fi Loudspeakers, based in Barnard Castle, Co. Durham.

We are looking for a capable person to perform a range of office-based tasks, to include filing, engaging with our trading partners, arranging shipping and other duties as and when required.

About the Role

Reporting to the Operations Manager you will provide efficient administrative support service to aid the smooth day to day running of the business, ensuring that workload and commitments are planned and managed. Training for certain tasks will be given where necessary.

As Office Administrator you will…

· Assist the operations manager with administration issues.

· Despatch duties.

· Efficiently and professionally deal with visitors to the factory when required.

· Ordering & receiving of production materials.

· Purchase order creation and placement, goods receipting etc.

· Data inputting using various spreadsheets.

· Provide cover in the Operations Manager’s absence.

· Provide administrative support to the site management team regarding any office / factory related issues.

· Produce a range of Excel, Word and PowerPoint documents as and when required.

· Communicate with clients, demonstrating professionalism.

· Create and edit a variety of documents where necessary.

· Data inputting using various spreadsheets.

This position is based at our Barnard Castle site, DL12 8XT.

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.00pm.

Skills & Experience

Good GCSE education
Microsoft Office in particular Excel and Word
IT Skills and comfortable with portals and systems platforms
Professional and courteous
Ability to work as part of a small team
Proactive and organised approach with the ability to prioritise tasks.
Confident verbal and written communication
Ability to work to high levels of accuracy with a high level of attention to detail.

Desirable

· Experience in Despatch/Logistics

· Experience in an office environment

About our Benefits

Hourly Rate £13.50
28 day’s annual holiday, including statutory holidays.
