Job Summary

We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Waitress/Bar Staff to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere while efficiently managing food and beverage orders. Previous experience in a restaurant or bar environment is preferred, along with a passion for creating memorable dining experiences. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within a dynamic setting, contributing to the overall success of our establishment.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service throughout their visit
Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring timely delivery
Serve drinks and meals in accordance with health and safety standards
Upsell menu items to maximise sales opportunities
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining and bar areas
Assist in food preparation and presentation when required
Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments efficiently
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards
Address guest queries promptly and professionally to enhance customer satisfaction
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy periods

Requirements

Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant, or bar service is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation skills are advantageous
Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities
Good communication skills and a friendly demeanour towards guests
Ability to work efficiently under pressure during peak hours
Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn new skills in a fast-paced environment
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holiday periods as required
