National UK Role | New Commercial Espresso Range | Cornish Tea & Coffee
Location: Home and field-based, ideally within the South West
Territory: UK-wide, with a focus on the South West and key national accounts

The Opportunity
Cornish Tea & Coffee is an established, family-owned Cornish business with a long-standing reputation for supplying quality tea and coffee to customers across the UK.
We're now expanding our offering with the launch of a new range of commercial espresso machines, creating an exciting opportunity for someone to help us grow this new side of the business.
We're looking for a confident, commercially minded person with a genuine interest in coffee to develop new customers, build relationships and help introduce our equipment range to businesses across the UK.
You don't need to be an expert in coffee equipment. Sales experience is useful, but attitude, enthusiasm and the ability to build relationships are just as important. Full product and technical training will be provided.
The role
You'll develop new and existing customer relationships across hospitality, foodservice, workplace and other relevant sectors.
The role will focus on our new commercial espresso machines, while also looking for opportunities to grow the wider Cornish Tea & Coffee offering — including coffee, tea, hot chocolate, consumables, equipment, training and ongoing support.
You'll be responsible for:
- Developing new business and building a strong sales pipeline.
- Introducing and demonstrating our new espresso-machine range.
- Developing relationships with customers, coffee businesses and industry partners.
- Growing existing Cornish Tea & Coffee accounts.
- Identifying opportunities for complete tea, coffee and equipment solutions.
- Preparing quotations and commercial proposals.
- Managing opportunities from first conversation through to installation and ongoing support.
- Attending customer meetings, demonstrations and industry events.
- Working closely with our engineering, training, marketing and customer-support teams.
- Keeping up to date with developments in coffee, hospitality and equipment.
- Providing regular sales forecasts and feedback from the market.
Who we're looking for
We're not necessarily looking for someone who has spent years selling coffee machines.
We're looking for someone who is:
- Genuinely interested in coffee and keen to learn.
- Confident, friendly and comfortable talking to customers.
- Commercially minded and motivated to win new business.
- Good at building long-term relationships.
- Proactive and organised.
- Comfortable presenting products and solutions.
- Curious about coffee equipment and technology.
- Able to work independently while being part of a small, supportive team.
- Happy travelling throughout the UK.
- A full UK driving licence holder.
Experience in B2B sales, account management, coffee, hospitality, foodservice or catering equipment would be beneficial, but isn't essential.
Most importantly, we want someone with the enthusiasm and personality to represent Cornish Tea & Coffee well and the ambition to help us grow.
