Summary

We are currently seeking a Supported Living Officer to join our dynamic team across Preston. Based within our community-focused service, this role plays a vital part in delivering high-quality, person-centred support to our residents.

The successful candidate will work closely with individuals to promote independence, enhance life skills, and support their overall well-being, in line with our commitment to compassionate care and social inclusion. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a values-driven organisation dedicated to empowering people to live fulfilling lives.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and empathy.
Coordinate support plans and liaise with external agencies to facilitate residents' independence.
Monitor and review individual support plans, making adjustments as necessary.
Ensure compliance with relevant policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
Maintain accurate records using Yardi software to track service delivery and resident progress.
Assist in resolving conflicts or issues through effective negotiation and communication.
Contribute to team meetings by sharing insights and best practices.
Support the company's growth strategy by actively participating in community engagement initiatives.

Qualifications

Proven experience in supported living or social care environments.
Strong negotiation skills for conflict resolution and stakeholder engagement.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulatory requirements.
Compassionate approach with a passion for supporting vulnerable individuals.
Flexibility to adapt to changing needs within the supported living sector.
