Full job description

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Night Cleaner to join our team at Thyme, a luxury boutique hotel, spa, restaurants and retail destination in the heart of the Cotswolds.

Working during the night, you will play a vital role in ensuring our guest areas, restaurants, spa and back-of-house spaces are spotless, safe and ready for the day ahead. This is an ideal role for someone who takes pride in high standards, enjoys working independently and has a keen eye for detail.

OTE for this role is £31,908pa based on 40 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

Carry out thorough cleaning of public areas, restaurants, bars, spa facilities and back-of-house areas.
Deep clean designated areas according to the cleaning schedule.
Vacuum, mop, dust and sanitise all assigned spaces.
Clean and replenish guest and staff washrooms.
Ensure all cleaning equipment is maintained and stored correctly.
Safely handle cleaning chemicals in line with company procedures.
Report maintenance issues, hazards or damage to the relevant department.
Support the Housekeeping team with additional cleaning duties as required.
Maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the property.

What We're Looking For

Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience is desirable but not essential.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Reliable, trustworthy and punctual.
Physically capable of carrying out cleaning duties, including lifting, bending and standing for extended periods.
A positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a team environment.
