Job Overview
Exciting opportinity to join a growing independent firm across Portsmouth & Gosport. We are seeking a proactive and personable Lettings Negotiator to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing property viewings, liaising with prospective tenants, and supporting the lettings process from start to finish. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to develop and grow their career within the property industry, providing valuable experience in client communication and property management. The position is paid and suitable for those eager to contribute to a professional environment while honing their organisational and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

Conduct property viewings and provide detailed information to prospective tenants
Assist in the negotiation of tenancy agreements and lease terms
Liaise effectively with landlords, tenants, and internal teams to ensure smooth lettings processes
Manage administrative tasks such as updating property listings, preparing marketing details
Respond promptly to enquiries via phone, email, or in person
Support marketing efforts by promoting available properties through various channels
Organise appointments and coordinate schedules efficiently to maximise viewing opportunities

Requirements

Previous administrative experience is highly desirable
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with clients
Multilingual abilities are advantageous but not essential
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Professional attitude with a proactive approach to work
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
A valid driving licence is preferred but not mandatory
