Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled / semi skilled Bench Hand Joiner to join our diverse workshop team.
In this role, you will be a part of a team that produces Live event scenery , exhibition stands and one off demo ,display areas.
The position would suit a person that has experience in cabinet making, Laminating, panel wall production.
Has a good knowledge of using hand tools , hand power tools and workshop machinery.
Ideally be able to work off 2D working drawings.
The Candidate must consider them selves to be responsible for there standard of work and be able to work on tight deadlines within a team and alone on projects.
The candidate must be prepared to work away for short duration of times both in the UK and Europe and be flexible with hours that they work.
It can be a physical job so they must be fit and willing to get stuck in!!

The Salary will depend on skills and experience.
Duties
- Fabricate custom joinery components using hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery to meet project specifications.
- Assemble furniture, cabinetry, and structural elements with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Measure, cut, shape, and finish timber and other materials to ensure seamless fit and finish.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders to execute precise joinery tasks.
- Assist in installation processes away from the workshop in both the UK and Europe when needed.
- Perform heavy lifting safely to move materials and finished products within the workshop or on-site.
- be prepared to take on other duties like painting to ensure the task gets done
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace while adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
Requirements
- Proven experience in fabrication, assembly, carpentry, or joinery with a strong understanding of construction techniques.
- Proficiency with hand tools, hand power tools and larger workshop machinery.
- Must be available to work away for short periods of up to and around 5 days at a time,
- Be prepared to work over time and work un-regular hours.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting regularly while maintaining safety standards.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent measurement and precision skills.
- Good communication skills and the ability to meet and work alongside clients and other contractors.
