Full job description

Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday, 8:45am – 3:00pm
Salary: £15.00 per hour (Based on 25 hours per week, year-round employment)

Job Overview

We are looking for a friendly, organised and proactive PA / Secretary / Administrative Assistant to support the day-to-day running of our sporting academy. This is a varied role that requires excellent communication and organisational skills, along with the ability to build positive relationships with our students, parents and coaching staff.

Key Responsibilities

Record and monitor daily student attendance.
Contact students who are absent and follow up on non-attendance.
Liaise with parents/carers, coaches and staff regarding attendance, welfare and any concerns.
Support students with bursary applications, paperwork and ongoing administration.
Maintain accurate student records and ensure information is kept up to date.
Respond to enquiries from prospective students and trialists via email and telephone.
Answer incoming calls and manage the academy's general email inbox.
Provide administrative support to coaches, management and the finance team.
Assist with enrolment and onboarding of new students.
Support the organisation of academy events, meetings and appointments.
Assist with social media and marketing activities where required.
Carry out general office administration, filing and document management.
Maintain confidentiality and comply with safeguarding and GDPR procedures at all times.

We Are Looking For Someone Who

Is friendly, approachable and professional.
Has excellent organisational and communication skills.
Is confident using Microsoft Office, email and basic computer systems.
Can work independently and use their own initiative.
Has strong attention to detail.
Is reliable, adaptable and enjoys working as part of a team.
Is confident communicating with young people aged 16–19.
Previous administration or PA experience is desirable, although personality, attitude and willingness to learn are equally important.

Holiday Entitlement

22.4 days paid annual leave per year (inclusive of statutory entitlement), based on working four days per week.
