Prep Chef (Seasonal)

COAST Restaurant at Beachside Holiday Park – Hayle, Cornwall

£13.42 per hour | Paid Weekly

Hours: Wednesday to Sunday, 9:00am – 3:00pm

Contract: Immediate start until 19th September

Join Our Kitchen Team

COAST is a busy, quality-led restaurant just steps from the beach in Hayle. We pride ourselves on serving fresh, well-prepared food in a calm, organised kitchen.

We're looking for a reliable and experienced Prep Chef to join our team for the remainder of the season. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys preparing quality ingredients, works well under their own initiative, and takes pride in maintaining high kitchen standards.

Your Responsibilities

Prepare fresh ingredients for daily service
Carry out food preparation in line with recipes and specifications
Keep your workstation clean, organised and well stocked
Rotate stock using FIFO principles
Maintain excellent food hygiene and safety standards
Support the kitchen team to ensure smooth service

What We're Looking For

Previous experience in a professional kitchen is essential
Good knife skills and food preparation experience
A positive attitude with a strong work ethic
Ability to work efficiently and independently
Excellent attention to detail
Level 2 Food Hygiene is desirable
Able to commit to Wednesday to Sunday, 9:00am–3:00pm, until 19th September
