Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Bar, club and restaurant Operations Manager to lead and oversee daily business activities within our organisation. The ideal candidate will possess strong management capabilities, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in team leadership across the hospitality sector. This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive operational excellence, optimise team performance, and contribute to the company's strategic growth. The position is paid and suitable for individuals with substantial managerial experience who thrive in fast-paced environments. Only candidates that currently work in a bar or club environment will be considered for the role.

Responsibilities

Lead, motivate, and supervise teams to achieve operational objectives efficiently and effectively.
Develop and implement organisational strategies to improve productivity and customer satisfaction.
Oversee daily operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Manage staffing schedules, recruitments, and training programmes to maintain a high-performing workforce.
Coordinate sales and merchandising activities to maximise revenue opportunities.
Foster strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal departments through excellent communication and organisational skills.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare reports for senior management to inform decision-making.
Ensure adherence to health and safety standards across all operational areas.
Utilise administrative experience to streamline processes, manage budgets, and optimise resource allocation.
Demonstrate leadership by guiding teams through change management initiatives and continuous improvement projects.

Skills

Proven management experience with a focus on supervising teams in a hospitality environments
Strong leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and develop staff members.
Excellent organisational skills with a keen eye for detail and time management.
Effective communication skills, including phone etiquette, both verbal and written.
Demonstrated ability in marketing and developing sales.
Experience in team management within fast-paced or high-volume settings.
Ability to prioritise tasks efficiently while maintaining flexibility under pressure.
