Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and energetic Glass Collector/Bar Back to join our vibrant hospitality team. This role is essential in maintaining a smooth and efficient bar environment, ensuring guests receive excellent service. The successful candidate will support bartenders by restocking supplies, clearing used glassware, and assisting with general bar maintenance. Previous experience in hospitality or food service is advantageous, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are equally valued. This position offers an engaging work environment where teamwork and communication skills are key to success. we are looking for a glass collector between the age of 18-21 years old

Duties

Collect used glasses and clean them promptly to maintain cleanliness standards
Restock bar supplies including glassware, garnishes, and beverages as needed
Assist bartenders with preparing ingredients
Ensure the bar area remains organised and tidy throughout shifts
Support with setting up and breaking down the bar before and after service
Communicate effectively with team members to ensure seamless service delivery
Maintain a friendly and professional demeanour when interacting with guests
Follow health and safety regulations diligently, including hygiene standards

Qualifications

Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant, or hotel environments is preferred
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
Experience as a barista or in similar roles such as serving or kitchen work is beneficial
Enthusiastic attitude with a willingness to learn new skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or during busy periods as required
