Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista/Waitress to join our vibrant team. This role involves preparing and serving high-quality beverages, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering a memorable experience and possess a keen eye for detail. Previous experience in food service is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided. This position offers an engaging environment where teamwork and professionalism are highly valued.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks, adhering to company standards.
Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring prompt service.
Serve food items with attentiveness and courtesy, maintaining high standards of presentation.
Handle cash transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the counter, tables, and surrounding areas in compliance with food safety regulations.
Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts.
Engage with customers in a friendly manner, providing recommendations and addressing any queries or concerns.
Follow health and safety guidelines diligently, including food safety protocols.
Assist in food preparation tasks when required to support kitchen staff.

Qualifications

Previous barista experience is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for those eager to learn.
Knowledge of food safety standards is desirable to ensure compliance with hygiene regulations.
Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment is preferred.
Basic food preparation skills are beneficial for assisting with light kitchen duties.
Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods.
Good basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately.
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanour.
Ability to work well within a team while maintaining a positive attitude. This role offers an opportunity to develop your skills within the hospitality industry while working in a dynamic environment that values dedication and enthusiasm.

Pay: £12.71-£13.00 per hour
