Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service in a lively bar environment, ensuring guests have an enjoyable experience. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic setting, where hospitality skills and attention to detail are highly valued. Candidates should be organised, personable, and capable of handling busy periods with efficiency and grace.

Duties

Serve drinks and beverages to customers in a friendly and efficient manner.
Take orders accurately and process payments using the bar’s point-of-sale system.
Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces.
Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation throughout shifts.
Engage with guests to create a welcoming atmosphere and promote special offers or events.
Assist in setting up and closing down the bar at the beginning and end of shifts.
Monitor guest behaviour to ensure safety and adherence to licensing laws.

Experience

Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant environment is desirable but not essential; training will be provided.
Knowledge of food safety standards is advantageous.
Proven ability to serve customers efficiently while maintaining a friendly demeanour.
Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks during busy periods.
Excellent communication skills and a personable approach are essential for creating positive guest interactions. This role offers an engaging working environment where your hospitality skills can flourish, providing valuable experience within the food service industry.

Pay: From £12.71 per hour
