Overview
Join our vibrant café team as an Experienced Barista/Kitchen Assistant, where your passion for coffee and food service will shine! In this dynamic role, you’ll craft exceptional beverages, prepare delicious food items, and deliver outstanding customer service in a lively, fast-paced environment. Your expertise will help create memorable experiences for our guests while supporting smooth café operations. Responsibilities

Prepare and serve high-quality coffee beverages using various brewing methods, ensuring consistency and presentation standards are met.
Assist with food preparation and food handling tasks, maintaining cleanliness and adhering to food safety guidelines.
Operate POS systems efficiently for sales transactions, cash handling, and order processing.
Provide friendly, attentive customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and ensuring guest satisfaction.
Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service and smooth workflow within the café environment.
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and dining areas in compliance with health regulations.
Support inventory management by restocking supplies and assisting with food prep as needed to ensure seamless service.

Experience

Proven barista experience with strong knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and beverage presentation.
Previous experience in a food service or café setting, demonstrating excellent customer service skills.
Familiarity with EPOS systems for sales transactions and cash handling.
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently through effective time management skills in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of food safety standards, proper food handling procedures, and basic math for cash register operations.
Experience with serving customers in retail or hospitality environments is preferred but not required.
Strong communication skills and a positive attitude to contribute to a welcoming atmosphere for guests and team members alike.
