Full job description

We’re hiring a Kitchen Artisan to join our team at Little Dessert Shop in Cardiff. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced dessert kitchen. You’ll be preparing high-quality desserts, maintaining consistency, and keeping standards high during busy service.

If you’re slow, careless, or not comfortable working under pressure, this job isn’t for you. If you take pride in your work, move fast, and pay attention to detail, keep reading.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and assemble desserts to brand standards (waffles, crepes, cakes, shakes, etc.)
Ensure consistency in presentation, portioning, and quality
Maintain a clean, organised, and hygienic kitchen at all times
Follow food safety and hygiene regulations strictly
Manage prep work and restocking during shifts
Work efficiently during peak hours without compromising quality
Support team members to keep service running smoothly

Requirements

Previous kitchen or food preparation experience preferred (not mandatory if you learn fast)
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
Good time management and multitasking skills
Reliable, punctual, and disciplined
Flexible availability (evenings, weekends, and holidays required)
