Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Level 2 Barber to join our professional team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in barbering, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients. This role offers an opportunity to deliver high-quality hair styling services in a welcoming environment, ensuring client satisfaction and fostering long-term relationships.

Duties

Provide a wide range of barbering services including haircuts, trims, shaves, and styling tailored to individual client preferences
Consult with clients to understand their desired look and offer professional advice on hair care and styling options
Maintain a clean and hygienic work station in accordance with health and safety regulations
Ensure all tools and equipment are properly sanitised and maintained for optimal performance
Build rapport with clients through friendly communication, ensuring a positive experience that encourages repeat visits
Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in hair styling and barbering industry standards
Manage appointment schedules efficiently to maximise client flow and minimise wait times

Requirements

Proven experience as a Level 2 Barber or similar role with a strong portfolio of work
Demonstrable expertise in hair styling, cutting, shaving, and grooming techniques
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and ensure client satisfaction
Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
Ability to work effectively in a team environment while also managing individual client needs
Organised with attention to detail to maintain hygiene standards and ensure quality service delivery
Flexibility to work during peak hours including weekends if required
Valid barbering qualifications recognised within the UK or equivalent certification
