The Cotswold Home is situated in a beautiful area close to the lovely town of Burford. Offering the highest levels of residential and nursing care provided by a team of experienced and committed staff.

About the Role

Join our team as Deputy Manager and help us deliver exceptional care in a welcoming, supportive environment. You’ll assist the General Manager in running the home smoothly, efficiently, and cost-effectively, deputising when required and leading on clinical and care matters. This role requires the candidate to be a Registered General Nurse, or a Registered Mental Health Nurse

Level 5 Diploma in Health and Social Care Management, or an equivalent qualification, or a higher qualification such as a degree/ post graduate degree in health and social care is desirable.
Be a Registered General Nurse, or a Registered Mental Health Nurse.
Experience of managing a successful department for older people.
Experience of working in a care home environment and delivering high quality services to older people.
Experience of leading and motivating a diverse group of employees to align around shared aims and objectives.
Ability to use a range of IT systems including MS Office and databases to collate, analyse and report on data to a range of stakeholders.
Ability to communicate information clearly to a wide range of stakeholders including residents & their families, employees and medical professionals verbally and in writing.
Willingness to co-design and co-deliver a range of promotions and approaches to increase the visibility, engagement and occupancy of the home with potential residents.
Knowledge of good clinical and quality care practice as it relates to older people.
