This is an exciting entry-level opportunity to build your expertise in database administration while being supported by experienced professionals in a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.

What you will do

Support the monitoring and maintenance of SQL Server and Azure SQL databases
Assist with backup and restore processes under guidance
Respond to alerts and escalate issues appropriately
Maintain documentation and follow security and governance standards
Contribute to team activities and on-call support as confidence grows
Support upgrading SQL server to new versions
Assist with deployment activities
Work with the agile DBA team to gain an understanding of development and contribute towards performance tuning

What you will bring

A basic understanding of SQL Server or relational databases
Awareness of cloud technologies, ideally Microsoft Azure
A genuine willingness to learn and develop new technical skills
Strong attention to detail and a structured approach to tasks
Good communication skills and a team-first mindset
