We are looking for a Client Services and Office Supervisor to join our fast-growing, dynamic accountancy firm in South Liverpool.
This is a varied, hands-on role for someone who enjoys keeping things organised, helping people, improving systems, and making sure nothing falls through the cracks.
You’ll provide day-to-day support to the Director and wider team, help manage enquiries from prospective clients, support our client onboarding process, and make sure the office runs smoothly.
You’ll often be the first point of contact for clients and prospects, so you’ll play a key role in giving people a great first impression of JDA.
We offer hybrid working, private medical insurance and the option to work a 4-day week, giving you a 3-day weekend if that suits your work-life balance.
You don’t need accountancy experience as training will be provided. What matters most is that you’re organised, accurate, approachable, confident speaking to people, and willing to learn.
Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting the Director
- Managing the Director’s diary, helping to prioritise tasks, and supporting the measuring of results daily
- Supporting weekly meetings to measure the firm’s Key Performance Indicators
- Liaising and communicating with clients, customers and suppliers
- Helping the Director stay organised and focused on the most important tasks
- Supporting projects and follow-up actions as required
Customer service and client support
- Acting as a first point of contact for current and potential clients, either by phone, email or in person
- Helping manage enquiries from prospective clients, making sure they are followed up properly and booked into the right meetings
- Liaising with potential clients from initial enquiry through to sales meeting
- Supporting the onboarding of new clients, including Anti-Money Laundering checks and setting them up in our systems
- Liaising with clients to gather information and records to allow the team to prepare accounts and tax returns
- Gathering client feedback through surveys and phone calls
- Submitting accounts, confirmation statements and tax returns to Companies House and HMRC, with training provided
- Helping ensure clients receive a professional, friendly and responsive service
General administration and office support
- Managing the firm’s CRM system
- Managing our HR system, including monitoring holidays and sickness
- Dealing with incoming post, including scanning and filing
- Supporting the team with general tasks, eg arranging meetings in person or via Zoom
- Managing and ordering office supplies
- Keeping office systems, records and processes up to date
- Helping to spot where internal processes could be improved
- Ensuring the office runs smoothly

- Good knowledge and experience of using Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel, Outlook and Word. Training will be provided on other software packages as required
Desirable skills
- Experience of administration in a professional firm
- Experience in a client-facing or customer service role
- Experience of using CRM or practice management systems
- Experience of supporting senior managers or directors

Hours of work: 36 Hours per week.
3-day Weekends!
We do offer the opportunity to work a 4-day week. A number of our team work four 9-hour days per week, but this is optional to suit your work-life balance and arrangements.
Place of work
Hybrid Working. To be an Office Supervisor, you must spend time in the office that you are supervising, but you will be able to work remotely as appropriate - usually one day per week to fit business needs
Salary Range: £30,000
