About you:

We are looking for a passionate Complex Care Trainer to support the growth and development across our Branches. We have an opportunity to bring service and support to the most vulnerable in our communities and continue on our journey to being the UK's fastest growing technology-enabled care provider.

This is an incredibly exciting opportunity for someone looking to make a difference. You will be responsible for coordinating and delivering branch training in accordance with current best practices, adhering to policy and procedures, agreed standards, legislative requirements and relevant regulations under the direction of the Head of L&D.

You will be responsible for developing the people and processes that result in a high-performing and compliant branches, as well as, continuing to work to align these with the wider Every Second Care teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and deliver engaging training programme's aligned with regulatory standards, organisational policies and best practice.
Develop bespoke workshops and bitesize learning sessions in response to service needs and emerging trends.
Deliver both face-to-face and virtual learning opportunities to staff teams, and where appropriate deliver awareness sessions for children and people supported.
Support in the delivery of regional assessment day training sessions for new starters.
Maintain accurate and up to date training records and oversee the training matrix to ensure compliance targets are met.
Monitor training completion rates and work proactively with managers to address gaps.
Promote trauma-informed approaches across services and support teams to evidence strong practice.
Support leaders through coaching and reflective learning to strengthen performance and continuous improvement.
Contribute to inspection readiness by supporting teams to demonstrate good and outstanding practice.

PMVA and incident reporting
Autism and PDA awareness
EBD awareness
Positive Behaviour Support (PBS)

What we're looking for:

Previous experience delivering staff training within a regulated health or social care environment.

Experience working in children’s residential services, adult care services or complex care settings.

Knowledge of CQC regulations and regulatory expectations.

Strong presentation, facilitation and communication skills.

Ability to design engaging learning materials and adapt training to different audiences.

Good organisational skills with experience maintaining training records and compliance systems.

A proactive and solution-focused approach to identifying learning needs.

A full clean driving licence and willingness to travel to services.

Level 3 Teaching and Learning or a relevant training qualification is desirable but not essential.

Train the trainer qualifications in areas such as PMVA, medication, moving and handling, conflict resolution or first aid would be beneficial, although training can be supported for the right candidate.
