Overview

We are seeking a motivated and hardworking Labourer/Renderer to join our dynamic construction team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be involved in a variety of building and finishing projects, contributing to the creation of high-quality structure. As a Labourer/Renderer, you will play a vital part in supporting skilled tradespeople by preparing materials, assisting with insulating and rendering tasks, and ensuring the smooth progress of each project. This paid position is ideal for individuals eager to develop their skills in construction,and related trades while working in a fast-paced, energetic environment.

Responsibilities

Assist with the preparation and mixing of rendering materials and mortar using hand tools and power tools
Perform general labour duties such as lifting, carrying, and moving building materials safely and efficiently
Help with surface preparation for rendering or masonry work, including cleaning and sanding surfaces
Use hand tools and power tools to assist with insulating buildings and rendering tasks under supervision
Maintain a clean and organized worksite by disposing of debris and ensuring safety protocols are followed
Support skilled tradespeople during complex tasks to ensure project timelines are met

Requirements

Experience or familiarity with hand tools, power tools, bricklaying, masonry, carpentry, roofing, or welding is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated candidates
Ability to perform physical labour including lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods
Strong work ethic with attention to safety procedures at all times
Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately
Willingness to learn new skills and take on diverse construction tasks
Basic understanding of construction site safety regulations is advantageous
