Responsive Maintenance Housing Inspector
As part of our commitment to maintaining and improving our 9,500 council homes, this post will play a pivotal role in leading a multi-disciplinary team of Craft and Maintenance Technicians, Trade Apprentices and external contractors to deliver high quality responsive and preventative maintenance services.
We are looking for a new team member who is enthusiastic, energetic, and self-motivated who also adapts well to any given situation whilst maintaining the delivery of high-quality customer care.
The post holder will be responsible for creating a culture that is positive and flexible to change, as well as being innovative and collaborative to drive the service forward.
You will be responsible for:
Providing expert advice and guidance to colleagues, tenants, and contractors on a wide range of technical issues including diagnosis and resolution of structural, disrepair and environmental issues and developing works specifications.
Providing a high quality responsive and preventative maintenance service to the Council’s housing portfolio, that maintains the Carmarthenshire Homes Standard, including staff, budgetary and contract management for a portfolio of homes.
Assisting the Senior Responsive Housing Inspector to develop, manage, review, and continuously improve the responsive and preventative maintenance service.
This post will involve working on a hybrid basis with an element of working from home, on site and from the office.
