We’re looking for a Chef de Partie to join our Pastry team.

As a Pastry Chef de Partie at Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, London, we expect from you:

Checking and supervising all aspects of the pastry kitchen
Checking function sheets daily and communicating any movements to the team, including covers for afternoon tea etc. etc.
Organising mise en place for the present and following day
Ordering stock and inventory for pastry section.
Managing menus for plannings & tastings.

As a Pastry Chef de Partie, you will be working on a rotating shift basis, Monday to Sunday, 39 hours a week. Shift patterns will vary (including weekends and bank holidays), so flexibility is required where applicable.

To be a successful Pastry Chef de Partie candidate, you must have excellent command of the English language, with previous experience working in a 5* luxury hotel kitchen in a pastry environment. You will be able to effectively lead a team, showing initiative and open-mindedness when required.
