Full job description

Key Responsibilities

Bar Duties

· Prepare and serve drinks to company standards, ensuring excellent customer service at all times.

· Maintain a well-stocked bar, including liquor, beer, wine, mixers, ice, glassware, napkins, straws, and other equipment.

· Organise the bar area to streamline drink preparation and inventory management.

· Process payments accurately, providing correct change where necessary.

· Safeguard company stock and cash at all times.

· Maintain cleanliness and adhere to all legal and licensing requirements.

· Deliver exceptional service in a fast-paced environment, consistently demonstrating a friendly and professional approach.

· Assist with event setup and breakdown, ensuring the venue is prepared and restored efficiently.

Cloakroom Duties

· Set up, organise, and breakdown the cloakroom before, during, and after events.

· Issue wristbands and safely store customer items on hangers, racks, or shelves in an orderly manner.

· Return items to customers upon presentation of the matching wristband.

· Maintain cloakroom stock and report any issues or shortages promptly.

· Accept payments (cash or card) and provide correct change while safeguarding customer items until return.

· Liaise with the Cloakroom Supervisor regarding future events and set-up requirements.

Floor Duties

· Welcome customers and provide information as needed.

· Check entry and guest lists efficiently and professionally.

· Monitor the event floor to ensure safety, order, and excellent customer experience.

Essential Requirements

· Evidence of Right to Work in the UK

· Availability to work weekends, public holidays, and night shifts.

· Excellent communication and customer service skills.

· Good level of spoken English.

· Previous bar or event experience is desirable.

· Ability to work under pressure, independently and as part of a team.

· Strong attention to detail and a positive, professional attitude.

· Commitment to upholding company standards and policies at all times.

Job Type: Part-time
