Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise your expertise in financial management and accounting software within a dynamic organisation committed to professional development.

Duties

Prepare, examine, and analyse financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with organisational policies and regulatory standards.
Manage accounts payable processes, including invoice processing, salary processing, payment scheduling, and vendor reconciliation.
Utilise various accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, PeopleSoft, and other specialised financial management tools to maintain accurate financial records.
Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
Support budgeting and forecasting activities by providing relevant financial data and analysis.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper financial documentation and reporting procedures are followed.
Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and internal policies through regular audits and reviews.

Skills

Strong understanding of financial services, financial accounting, and general ledger management.
Proven experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, PeopleSoft, or similar platforms.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently under tight deadlines.
Demonstrated proficiency in accounts payable processes and financial management principles.
Analytical mindset with keen attention to detail for accurate financial reporting.
