Employment Type: Full-Time or Part-Time

About The Workroom

The Workroom Tailors is a modern neighbourhood tailoring house based in North London. We specialise in alterations, repairs, bespoke projects, and garment care, helping clients extend the life of their wardrobes through exceptional craftsmanship and service.

We’re growing quickly and are looking for an experienced tailor to join our team.

The Role

We are seeking a skilled tailor with experience in garment alterations and repairs across menswear and womenswear.

The ideal candidate will be confident working independently, have excellent attention to detail, and take pride in delivering high-quality work.

Responsibilities

* Carry out alterations on menswear and womenswear

* Trouser shortening and tapering* Jacket and coat alterations

* Zip replacements and garment repairs

* Bridal and occasionwear alterations (desirable)

* Maintain a high standard of workmanship

* Work efficiently to meet customer deadlines

* Support the team in delivering an excellent customer experience

Requirements

* Previous tailoring or alterations experience

* Strong sewing machine skills

* Ability to work independently

* Excellent attention to detail

* Professional and reliable

* Good communication skills

* Experience with bridalwear is beneficial but not essential
