Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests. This role involves preparing and serving drinks, engaging with customers, and ensuring the bar area maintains high standards of cleanliness and safety. Previous experience in a restaurant or bar environment is preferred, along with a strong understanding of food safety and responsible serving practices. The successful applicant will possess excellent time management skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and customer preferences
Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing excellent customer service
Take orders accurately, process payments, and handle cash or card transactions efficiently
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service policies
Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts
Monitor guest behaviour to promote a safe environment and prevent over-serving
Collaborate with team members to deliver a seamless service experience

Requirements

Previous experience in hospitality or food service roles, ideally within a restaurant or bar setting , Newbee welcome aswell.
Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices
Excellent serving skills with an emphasis on attentiveness and guest satisfaction
Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
Good time management skills to ensure timely service during busy periods
A personable attitude with excellent communication skills
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required
