Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Driver to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods, equipment, and materials to various destinations while ensuring timely deliveries and excellent customer service. Your expertise in commercial driving combined with mechanical knowledge will help maintain smooth operations across our logistics network. Duties

Safely operate commercial vehicles, including flatbed trucks, to deliver products to clients and distribution centers
Plan and follow efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles, checking for mechanical issues and ensuring compliance with safety standards
Load and unload cargo accurately, utilizing warehouse experience to handle various types of freight
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues promptly
Maintain detailed logs of driving hours, delivery records, and vehicle inspections for compliance purposes
Assist with warehouse tasks as needed, including inventory checks and organizing shipments

Requirements

Proven experience in commercial driving and delivery driver roles, preferably with flatbed trucks or similar equipment
Strong driving skills with a clean driving record and valid driver’s license suitable for operating large vehicles
Mechanical knowledge to perform basic vehicle maintenance checks and troubleshoot minor issues
Previous warehouse experience that enhances your ability to handle freight efficiently
Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members
Knowledge of safety protocols related to flatbed transportation and cargo securement
Ability to work independently, stay organized, and manage time effectively
