Description

The Capital Hotel Knightsbridge is a luxury 5-star boutique collection in the heart of Knightsbridge, just moments from Harrods and Harvey Nichols. Comprising The Capital Hotel, Apartments & Townhouse, we offer 73 beautifully appointed rooms and are proud members of POB Hotels and Small Luxury Hotels of the World.

Renowned for delivering authentic British hospitality, The Capital has long been recognised for excellence, including awards for both Best Hotel and Best Customer Service by the Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea.

The Role...

We are now entering an exciting new chapter, having been awarded a Michelin Star in February 2026 under the leadership of celebrated seafood chef Tom Brown, who has returned to The Capital following the success of his own Michelin-starred restaurant, Cornerstone.

We are looking for a bartender that can have fun working alongside a fantastic team and demonstrate the following skills :

Show passion to deliver exceptional food quality and service
Be a committed team player
Balance personality, character and professionalism seamlessly
Take accurate orders
Deliver food and drink in a professional manner to the table
Check back with guests to ensure that they are enjoying their meals and taking action to correct any problems
Communicate with customers to ensure any complaints are resolved satisfactorily
Clear and relay tables and keep the restaurant areas looking pristine
Can work flexible shifts including evenings and weekends
Show strong communication skills

More about You:

You will have some experience of working in a Michelin or equivalent restaurant or hotel
Possess a friendly personality and excellent customer service skills
Strong listening, speaking and communication skills
Minimum one year experience in Food and Beverage

Salary and Contract...

We are able to offer numerous contract types, including a permanent contract, working 40 hours per week over 5 days. This role requires flexibility as the hours that are available will include working evenings and weekends and additional hours during our busiest times.
