Job Title: Pastry Chef (Immediate Start)

About the Role

MC Group UK is looking for a talented and passionate Pastry Chef to join our growing team with an immediate start. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative pastry professional to take ownership of our pastry offering across multiple concepts.You will be responsible for designing, developing and delivering an exceptional range of pastries and desserts, including a luxury 5-star hotel standard Afternoon Tea, premium restaurant desserts, and an exciting selection of whole cakes for our dessert café.We're looking for someone with fresh ideas, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to turn creative concepts into beautifully presented, commercially successful products.

Key Responsibilities

Design and launch a luxury Afternoon Tea menu to a 5-star hotel standard.
Create innovative, seasonal dessert menus for our restaurant.
Develop a range of premium whole cakes and celebration cakes for our dessert café.
Produce consistently high-quality pastries, desserts and baked goods.
Maintain exceptional standards of presentation, taste and quality.
Manage stock levels, ordering and minimise food waste.
Ensure compliance with all food safety, hygiene and HACCP procedures.
Work closely with the senior management team on menu development and new product launches.
Train and support junior pastry staff where required.
Keep up to date with industry trends and introduce new techniques and ideas.

About You

We are looking for someone who has:

Proven experience as a Pastry Chef in a quality hotel, restaurant or high-end bakery.
Experience creating luxury Afternoon Tea menus.
A strong portfolio of restaurant desserts and artisan cakes.
A genuine creative flair with an eye for detail and presentation.
Excellent knowledge of modern pastry techniques and trends.
The ability to work well under pressure while maintaining high standards.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
A positive attitude and passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Food Hygiene Certificate (preferred).
