Job Summary
We are seeking a Part-Time Experienced Bookkeeper to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in bookkeeping and accounting, with proficiency in various accounting software programmes. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise your skills in a dynamic environment, supporting our financial operations and ensuring accurate record-keeping. The position is suitable for individuals seeking flexible, part-time work with valuable experience in the field.

Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including data entry and transaction recording
Reconcile accounts and maintain accurate financial records using recognised accounting software such as spreadsheets, Capium, QuickBooks, Xero and Freeagent.
Process accounts payable and receivable transactions efficiently and accurately
Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
Support the preparation of financial reports and statements as required
Ensure compliance with organisational policies and relevant financial regulations
Collaborate with the finance team to improve bookkeeping processes and workflows

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role, ideally within a recognised organisation
Proficiency in accounting software such as spreadsheets, Capium, QuickBooks, Xero and Freeagent, is essential
Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and general ledger management
Excellent organisational skills with high attention to detail
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a part-time capacity
Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with team members effectively
Relevant qualifications in accounting or finance are desirable but not mandatory
