Full job description

Join our growing team at Alfi, a new bar and restaurant for people who are passionate about food and drink.

We are looking for bartenders with a specialist knowledge in wine, coffee or cocktails. Are you passionate about hospitality and creating unforgettable experiences for guests? Are you a wine enthusiast? Or are you passionate about coffee and interested in setting the bar high? Keen to learn from your colleagues and share your enthusiasm with them?

If so, Alfi is the perfect place for you to share your expertise and passion!

Location: Spitalfields Market, London

Start date: ASAP

The menu: 10 high quality wines on tap, wine list with an emphasis on low-intervention and natural wines and a curated cocktail list.

About Alfi:

Alfi offers quality and authenticity through our produce, highlighting contemporary Italian flavours alongside delicious wines, craft beers and a small but excellent cocktail list. We are an independent all day bar and restaurant nestled in the heart of Spitalfields Market.

Your role as Bartender:

Our ideal bartender is passionate about hospitality and creating unforgettable experiences for guests. You may be either a wine enthusiast, passionate about coffee or just interested in setting the bar high. You will be keen to learn from your colleagues and share your enthusiasm with them.

Essentials:

Extensive knowledge of wine, coffee or cocktails (ideally all three)
Proven experience as a bartender
Exceptional customer service and ability to create a welcoming atmosphere
Strong communication skills and a friendly, customer-focused approach
Enthusiasm for learning and sharing your expertise with the team and guests
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work collaboratively with a diverse team
