Full job description

New Opening – London Victoria Station

We’re opening a brand-new Heidi bakery and coffee shop inside London Victoria Station this September, and we’re looking for brilliant full-time Baristas and Front of House Team Members to join our opening team.

Heidi is a growing independent bakery and coffee-shop group with locations across London and the South East.

Our philosophy is simple: let the food and coffee do the talking.

Our bakery team makes our food from scratch, from croissants and pastries to cakes, savouries and sandwiches. Alongside this, we take coffee seriously, using excellent beans, equipment and training to make sure every cup is served to a consistently high standard.

Victoria will be one of our busiest locations, so we're looking for people who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, can stay calm and organised when it's busy, and genuinely enjoy looking after customers.

What you'll be doing

As part of our Front of House team, you'll:

Deliver warm, friendly and efficient service to a high volume of customers.
Prepare and serve consistently great coffee and other drinks.
Learn our bakery range so you can confidently help and advise customers.
Serve and present our food to Heidi's standards.
Work closely with the rest of the team to keep service running smoothly during busy periods.
Operate the till and process customer orders accurately.
Keep the counter, coffee area and customer spaces clean, organised and welcoming.
Follow our food safety, hygiene and operating procedures.
Help create a positive atmosphere for both customers and the rest of the team.

Who we're looking for

You'll be a good fit if you:

Are naturally friendly, positive and confident with customers.
Enjoy working as part of a team.
Can work quickly and efficiently without compromising on quality.
Are reliable and punctual.
Take pride in keeping your workplace clean and well presented.
Have a flexible attitude to working hours.
Are comfortable working in a busy station environment.

Previous hospitality or barista experience is preferred, but attitude, reliability and a willingness to learn are just as important.

Full training on our coffee, products and service standards will be provided before opening.

Availability

This is a full-time role, working approximately 40 hours per week on a rota.

As Victoria Station is a seven-day-a-week location, you will need to be flexible and available for a mixture of shifts, including early mornings and weekends.

Successful applicants will begin their contracts and opening training on Monday 21 September 2026, ahead of the store opening on Thursday 24 September 2026.

Please make sure you can reliably travel to London Victoria Station, including for early shifts, before applying.
