Location: Hawkshaw Holcombe Moor, Preston BL8 4JJ
Pay rate: £12.71 per hour
Working pattern: Permanent, Zero-hour contract (as needed)
Shift times: As needed

Aramark UK is proud to support the Defence sector, and we’re looking for a dedicated Zero-hour Food Service Assistant to join our team at Hawkshaw Holcombe Moor. If you’re passionate about great service and want to be part of a team that makes a difference every day, we’d love to hear from you.

What you’ll do:

As a Food Service Assistant, you’ll be front and centre in delivering a welcoming experience to our customers. Your day-to-day will include:

Serve food and beverages to customers
Clean back of house areas, crockery, and cutlery
Clean and tidy counter, light equipment/machines, preparation, and public areas (tables and chairs)
Perform basic cold food preparation and made to order services
Restock goods and ensure appropriate displays of merchandise
Report to line manager any feedback, complaints, suggestions, stock needs, breakages, faults, or hazards identified during the work
Perform daily paperwork
Keeps diligent records as required
Follow food hygiene and safety procedures.

What we’re looking for:

A friendly, customer-focused attitude
Previous experience in food service or hospitality is a bonus – but not essential, full training provided
Must be 18+
Eligibility to work in the UK and have lived in the UK for at least 3 years (security clearance required)
Basic numeracy skills.
Own or reliable transport required due to remote location and limited public transport
Ability to work a variety of shifts.
