Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Waiters / Waitresses to join our vibrant hospitality team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest service, ensuring a memorable dining experience for all patrons. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for food and beverage service, excellent communication skills, and a professional demeanour. This position offers an opportunity to develop your hospitality skills within a dynamic environment committed to excellence.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive table service throughout their visit
Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special dietary requirements are accommodated
Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
Upsell menu items to maximise sales opportunities in a friendly and professional manner
Ensure guest satisfaction by checking in regularly and responding promptly to any requests or concerns
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of tables, service stations, and dining areas
Follow food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times
Assist with basic food preparation or setup when required, supporting kitchen staff as needed
Process payments accurately using the POS system and handle cash transactions securely
Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations

Requirements

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation techniques is advantageous
Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities to handle busy service periods efficiently
Good communication skills with a friendly, approachable manner towards guests and colleagues
Ability to perform basic maths accurately for billing purposes
Experience in guest services, with a focus on creating positive dining experiences
Willingness to learn new skills such as upselling techniques and menu knowledge
Flexibility to work during peak hours, including evenings, weekends, or holidays as required

This role offers an engaging environment where you can grow your hospitality expertise while delivering outstanding service to our valued guests.

Pay: Up to £14.00 per hour
