Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across our premises, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. Prior experience in hotel or hospitality settings is highly desirable, along with janitorial expertise. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a professional and friendly environment while developing your skills within the hospitality industry.

Responsibilities

Clean and sanitise guest rooms, public areas, and staff facilities to the highest standards
Change bed linens, replenish supplies, and ensure all areas are tidy and organised
Maintain cleanliness of bathrooms, including sinks, toilets, showers, and tubs
Report any maintenance issues or damages promptly to management
Follow health and safety procedures diligently to ensure a safe working environment
Restock cleaning supplies and equipment as needed
Assist with laundry duties when required
Adhere to company policies regarding hygiene standards and confidentiality

Skills

Previous experience in a care home environment is preferred
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Knowledge of janitorial practices and cleaning techniques
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Good communication skills and a positive professional attitude
Ability to work efficiently within a team setting
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and schedules
