Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Medical Services Coordinator to join our healthcare team. In this vital role, you will serve as a key point of contact for patients, healthcare providers, and administrative staff, ensuring smooth coordination of medical services. Your energetic approach will help facilitate appointments, manage documentation, and support the delivery of exceptional patient care.

Duties

Schedule patient appointments and coordinate with medical staff using Microsoft Outlook and other scheduling tools
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation utilizing Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and insurance companies to confirm appointments and clarify procedures
Manage incoming calls, inquiries, and follow-up correspondence with professionalism and empathy
Assist with billing processes, insurance claims, and data entry to ensure timely processing of medical information
Organize files, prepare reports, and support administrative tasks using Microsoft Office suite applications

Requirements

Proven experience in administrative roles within healthcare or related fields
Strong knowledge of medical terminology to accurately interpret clinical information
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and other Microsoft Office tools
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Familiarity with customer service principles to assist patients with inquiries and concerns
Basic IT skills for troubleshooting common software issues and managing electronic health records

Pay: £48,000.00 per year
