About us

Centred at our offices in New Mills and Whaley Bridge also covering Chapel-en-le-Frith, Disley, Hayfield and Macclesfield, we provide services that cover all the key areas you’d expect, always with the addition of our dependable advice and experience.

Payroll Administrator

Person required for the role of Office and Payroll Administrator

Hours 36.25 hrs per week
Salary between £26,500 to £28,500 dependent upon experience
Holidays 28 including bank holidays – plus birthday
Training ongoing CPD provided
Office Based in Whaley Bridge
Other Office Closure between Christmas and New Year given as additional holidays

Experience preferred

Previous experience in payroll and bookkeeping roles
Use of Xero
Use of Brightpay
Used O365 suite of programs.
Managing tight deadlines

Payroll Administrator Requirements:

Prepare payroll for clients, Monthly and Weekly
Understand SMP, SPP, SSP
Nest/Pension Uploads
End of year routines
Understanding of National minimum wages legislation
Understanding of Payrolling of Expenses
Experience and understanding in Auto Enrolment
Understanding Tax code Notices
CIS Submissions

Bookkeeping

Bookkeeping for specific clients using Xero
Overseeing VAT submissions
MTD Submissions

These are the normal duties which we require you to perform however, they may be amended during busy work times.

Organised and analytical
IT Competent

Training

CPD in relation to HMRC legislation changes and payroll update will be provided
Xero and office systems

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £26,500.00-£28,500.00 per year
