Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic salon team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality hair cutting, colouring, and styling services to clients, ensuring an exceptional customer experience. This role offers opportunities for professional growth and development within a welcoming environment that values creativity and customer satisfaction. The Hair Stylist will also have the chance to expand their skill set , while contributing to the overall success of the salon.

Duties

Perform a variety of hair services including cutting, colouring, styling, and treatments in accordance with client preferences and salon standards
Provide personalised consultations to understand client needs and recommend suitable styles or treatments
Maintain a clean and organised work station, adhering to health and safety regulations
Manage appointment schedules efficiently at the front desk, ensuring smooth client flow
Upsell additional services or retail products to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue
Mentor junior team members or apprentices, colour techniques, or specialised treatments
Deliver excellent customer service by building rapport with clients and ensuring their comfort throughout their visit

Skills

Proven experience as a Hair Stylist with a strong portfolio of work
Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with clients and team members
Store management experience is advantageous for overseeing daily operations when required
Strong customer service orientation with the ability to upsell products and services tactfully
Ability to mentor junior staff or apprentices, fostering a collaborative team environment
Competence in other beauty treatments is desirable
Organised with good time management skills to handle multiple appointments efficiently
