Full job description

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for setting and operating CNC press brakes to manufacture high-quality sheet metal components in line with engineering drawings and production requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC press brake machinery.
Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
Select the correct tooling and machine settings for each job.
Produce components to required tolerances and quality standards.
Carry out first-off and in-process inspections.
Perform routine machine maintenance and daily checks.
Work closely with the fabrication team to meet production schedules.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organised working environment.
Follow all company health and safety procedures.

Requirements

Previous experience operating CNC press brakes is essential.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
Good understanding of sheet metal fabrication processes.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Experience with Amada, or similar press brake systems would be advantageous.
