About Us

At Knot & Grain, we craft high-quality wooden flooring that brings warmth and character to homes and commercial spaces. As a growing company in the flooring industry, we’re committed to sustainability, quality, and creating products that stand the test of time.

We’re looking for a reliable and hardworking Production Line Operator to join our team full-time and support the smooth running of our manufacturing process.

Job Overview

In this hands-on role, you’ll operate machinery, inspect products, and help maintain a clean and efficient production environment. No experience in flooring or woodworking is required — full training will be provided.

If you have a strong work ethic, good attention to detail, and enjoy practical work, this could be the perfect fit.

Key Responsibilities

Operate production machinery safely and efficiently
Follow instructions and quality control procedures
Check finished products for accuracy and defects
Keep the work area clean and organised
Support the team with general production tasks
Report any equipment issues or safety concerns promptly

What We’re Looking For

Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is useful but not essential
Fork lift driving experience
Good attention to detail and a focus on quality
Physically fit and able to carry out manual work
Punctual, dependable, and a team player
Willingness to learn and follow health & safety guidelines

Pay & Benefits

£12.21 – £14.00 per hour, depending on experience
