We are recruiting a Litigation Assistant to manage Small and Fast track cases. You'll handle your own caseload, contributing to the team's growth and success.

Advance your legal career by managing high-value motor claims through all litigation stages on behalf of top-tier insurance clients at Kennedys. Join our dynamic Motor team in either Birmingham or Manchester and enjoy a modern, collaborative hybrid working model.

Team

Working within our Motor team, you will take ownership of a diverse caseload, guiding complex claims through multiple litigation stages while partnering with the industry's leading motor insurance clients.

Client Base

Insurers
Claims handlers
Self-insured organisations

Key Responsibilities

Independently manage a caseload of Small & Fast track, Credit Hire matters
Draft and file court documents
Lead negotiations to case progression
Ensure high-quality client service and compliance with internal and procedural standards

Required experience

1+ years' experience handling litigated Credit Hire claims
Proven ability to manage a caseload independently
A proactive approach, strong attention to detail
Excellent negotiation, organisational, and communication skills
Formal legal qualifications are advantageous, but demonstrable practical experience is crucial
