Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Domestic Electrician to join our team, providing electrical services within residential properties. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical maintenance and installation, with excWe're looking for a skilled, reliable, and friendly Domestic Electrician to join our growing team. What You'll Be Doing

Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs)
Fault finding and diagnostics
Consumer unit upgrades
Full and partial rewires
Lighting installations and upgrades
Socket and circuit installations
Electrical repairs and maintenance
EV charger installations (training can be provided if required)
General domestic electrical work across Manchester and surrounding areas

What We're Looking For

NVQ Level 3 Electrical Qualification (or equivalent)
18th Edition Wiring Regulations
Testing & Inspection qualification preferred
Experience carrying out EICRs
Full UK Driving Licence
Professional, reliable, and customer-focused
Confident communicating with homeowners and explaining work clearly
Friendly attitude and good with customers
Ability to work independently and manage your workload

Duties

Installing, maintaining, and repairing domestic electrical systems, including lighting, sockets, switches, and appliances
Conducting safety inspections and ensuring all work complies with current electrical regulations
Diagnosing faults using specialised tools and providing effective solutions
Installing CCTV systems and integrating IT-related electrical components where required
Providing excellent customer service by explaining work carried out and advising clients on electrical safety measures
Managing maintenance schedules and performing routine checks to prevent future issues
Ensuring all work areas are kept clean, organised, and safe during and after completion of tasks
Driving to different residential locations as needed for installations or repairs

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Domestic Electrician with relevant qualifications recognised by industry standards
Valid driving licence with the ability to travel between sites efficiently
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, maintenance procedures, and safety standards
Experience with CCTV installation and basic IT integration is desirable
Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and team members
Customer service orientation with a professional approach to client interactions
Ability to diagnose electrical faults accurately and perform repairs efficiently
Organised with good time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously
