Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a flair for creativity and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Hair Stylist, you will have the opportunity to showcase your skills in hair cutting, colouring, and styling while also engaging with clients to understand their needs and preferences. This role offers a vibrant work environment where you can grow professionally and personally.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality hair cutting, colouring, and styling services tailored to client preferences.
Engage with clients to offer consultations and recommend suitable hairstyles and treatments.
Maintain a clean and organised work station, ensuring all tools and products are sanitised and ready for use.
Assist in store management tasks, including inventory control and product displays.
Provide excellent customer service by creating a welcoming atmosphere for clients.
Mentor junior stylists or apprentices by sharing knowledge and techniques to help them develop their skills.
Handle front desk duties as required, including scheduling appointments and managing client records.

Qualifications

Valid hairdressing qualification or equivalent experience in the industry.
Proven experience in hair styling with a strong portfolio showcasing your work
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to connect with clients effectively.
Strong customer service orientation with a positive attitude towards teamwork.
Ability to upsell services while maintaining client satisfaction.
Previous experience in store management or mentoring is an advantage but not essential.
