About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and highly capable Assistant Manager to help lead the day-to-day running of the store and support the continued growth of the business.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys responsibility, thrives in fast-paced hospitality environments, and wants to be part of building something long-term.

You will work closely with the Store Manager and Owners to help lead the team, maintain exceptional standards, drive performance, and create a consistently outstanding customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

Support the Store Manager with the day-to-day operations of the business
Lead by example on the floor with service, professionalism, and work ethic
Help recruit, train, motivate, and develop the team
Ensure high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and customer experience are maintained at all times
Support stock management, ordering, waste control, and operational efficiency
Handle customer concerns professionally and confidently
Help drive sales performance and team accountability
Identify opportunities to improve systems, workflow, and team performance
Contribute to building a positive, supportive, and high-performing team culture

About You

We are looking for someone who:

Has previous management or strong supervisory experience within hospitality or retail
Is confident leading people and maintaining standards
Has excellent communication and people skills
Is organised, reliable, and proactive
Works well under pressure and stays calm during busy periods
Has strong attention to detail and takes pride in their work
Approaches the business with an ownership mindset
Wants to grow into more senior leadership roles as the business expands

Desirable (but not essential)

Experience in specialty coffee or premium food and beverage
Experience helping improve operations or grow a business
A passion for hospitality, coffee, and customer experience
