Full job description

We are looking for a confident and organised Sales and Operations Executive to become an integral part of our busy sales and branch operations.

This varied role involves communicating directly with customers, supporting crucial sales activity and ensuring internal orders and processes are completed accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Handle inbound and outbound customer calls.
Answer customer enquiries and provide product and order information.
Make outbound sales calls and follow up on customer requirements.
Communicate professionally with customers by telephone and email.
Process customer orders accurately using the company’s internal system.
Complete work-order administration for stock that has been milled or machined within the branch.
Update order and stock records to ensure information remains accurate.
Work closely with sales, production and branch colleagues to keep orders progressing.
Help resolve customer queries and provide a high standard of excellent customer service.
Support the wider team with general sales and administrative duties.

About You

The successful candidate will:

Be confident speaking internally and with external customers.
Have excellent telephone and email communication skills.
Be organised, accurate and comfortable managing multiple tasks at once.
Have a positive and proactive approach to customer service and sales.
Cope well in busy, ever-changing environments.
Be confident using computer-based order-processing systems.
Work well independently as well as part of a busy team.
Have strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.

Previous experience in customer service, sales administration, order processing, manufacturing or a stockholding environment would be advantageous, although not essential. Training will be provided.

What We Offer

A salary of £32,000–£36,000 per year.

Monday-to-Friday 7.00am-17.00pm working hours.

Additional Saturday hours 7.00-midday paid separately at the applicable hourly rate.

Pay: £32,000.00-£36,000.00 per year
