Overview

Join our dynamic security team as a Mobile Security Officer, where your vigilance and proactive approach will safeguard our facilities, assets, and personnel. In this energetic role, you will patrol designated areas using mobile patrol vehicles or on foot, ensuring the safety and security of our environment. Your keen eye for surveillance, commitment to loss prevention, and ability to respond swiftly to incidents will make a significant impact. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of security operations, promoting a safe and secure atmosphere for all.

Duties

Conduct regular mobile or foot patrols of assigned premises to deter theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access
Monitor security cameras (CCTV) to observe activity and identify potential threats or suspicious behavior
Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services as necessary
Perform loss prevention measures by inspecting for theft or security breaches and reporting findings accurately
Maintain detailed logs of patrols, incidents, and observations to ensure thorough documentation of security activities
Assist with first aid in case of medical emergencies until professional help arrives
Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding security status and incident reports

Experience

Proven experience in security or surveillance roles is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
Familiarity with CCTV systems and surveillance technology enhances effectiveness in the role
Ability to perform first aid procedures confidently when needed
Strong observational skills with an eye for detail during patrols and surveillance activities
Excellent communication skills for reporting incidents clearly and accurately
Capable of standing, walking, or driving for extended periods during shifts in various weather conditions
