Imagine starting your day with a smile and a kind word that brightens someone's morning. As a Activities Co-ordinator, you’ll be there to support residents with the little things that matter most. You’ll play a crucial role in providing stimulating and enriching experiences for our residents through vibrant social, wellbeing, and lifestyle activities.

You'll be instrumental in bringing this vision to life by planning and facilitating engaging activities that promote physical, mental, and emotional well-being. One moment you might be encouraging someone to join an activity they love, the next you’re offering comfort and reassurance to make them feel safe and cared for. You’ll be part of a close-knit team that works together to make our home feel warm and our residents comfortable and safe.

In this role, it’s not just about providing care it’s about creating moments of joy, dignity, and connection. You’ll help write the small, meaningful chapters in someone’s story, and in return, you’ll be part of a community that values and supports you too.
Please note, that all our roles are subject to an enhanced police check (Disclosure Barring Service – DBS) before employment commences.

What You Will Do In This Splendid Role:

As a Activities Co-ordinator, every day is about making a real difference in the lives of our residents. You’ll get to:

Support with enrichment and wellbeing activities on a weekly and monthly schedule for our residents, you'll also get to know them and find out what makes them happy as individuals
Learn about their hobbies and interests and work with colleagues and families to ensure residents can keep doing what they love
Support with daily activities and running events/activities in the home
Promote resident dignity which is person centred and respects individual choices
Share moments of laughter, conversation, and companionship
Provide comfort and reassurance when residents need a little extra care
Work as part of a close-knit team to make every day safe, joyful, and fulfilling

What Makes You Splendid:

Qualifications aren't necessary, but previous experience in a similar environment would be advantageous. You’ll have good knowledge of the local area and community groups, as our residents enjoy days out. Above all, we're looking for individuals who are personable, compassionate, and genuinely interested in connecting with our residents and their families.
