Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Used Car Sales Executive to join our reputable dealership. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of the used car market and the ability to sell!

This role offers an exciting opportunity to utilise your sales ability and organisational skills to drive sales and enhance customer satisfaction. The successful applicant will be responsible for managing the full sales process, upselling vehicles, and maintaining a high standard of professional service.

Responsibilities

Engage with prospective customers via phone, email, and in person to promote used vehicle offerings.
Manage the entire sales cycle from initial contact, closing the deal and handover ensuring customer needs are met effectively.
Utilise CRM software to track leads, follow-ups, and customer interactions meticulously.
Upsell additional services or vehicle features to maximise sales opportunities.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients through excellent communication and personalised service.
Follow FCA guidlines/ compliance assisting with completing finance applications.
Conduct market research to stay informed about current trends in used vehicle sales and competitor activity.
Collaborate with the sales team to achieve dealership targets and improve overall performance.
Maintain organised records of all transactions and customer interactions for reporting purposes.
Demonstrate professional phone etiquette and organisational skills when managing multiple clients simultaneously.

Qualifications

Previous experience in automotive sales is required.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on clear and persuasive dialogue.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently.
Proficiency in CRM software or similar customer relationship management tools is essential.
IT skills including Social media marketing would be an advantage.
Demonstrated ability in upselling techniques and closing sales successfully.
Mechanical knowledge is advantageous.
SAF accreditation is advantageous.
Professional phone etiquette and a confident demeanour when engaging with clients.
