Full job description

Job Description:

We at Spectrum House, are seeking a receptionist, customer service professional who will be “face and voice” for front of house. This role is Full-time, Monday - Friday, 08:30 - 18:00. This isn’t just a desk job; you will be the primary architect of our customer journey, ensuring every visitor feels welcomed while providing high-level support to resolve enquiries.

This is an exciting time to join and grow with the business in our new state of the art facility. Supporting businesses with a flexible approach to office working. Where clients will book long or short blocks, whether unit space, an office, hot desk or meetings rooms, Spectrum House can facility their needs.

Key Responsibilities:

· Front-of-House Excellence: Greet visitors warmly, manage the reception area, and handle security protocols such as visitor passes and sign-ins.

· Relationship Management: Act as a dedicated point of contact for client enquiries, taking ownership of issues from first contact through to resolution.

· Administrative Support: Coordinate meeting room bookings, manage office supplies, and assist other departments with data entry or document preparation.

· Scheduling: Making sure booking calendars are not double booked

· Mail handling for tenants

Required skills and qualifications:

· Experience: 3 years in a customer-facing role (Reception, Hospitality, or Retail experience is highly valued).

· Tech Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfortable learning CRM or booking software.

· “Soft” Skills: Exceptional empathy, active listening, and the ability to stay calm and professional during busy periods.

· Organisation: Proven ability to multitask and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.

· Strong organisational and multitasking abilities

Pay: £25,000.00-£29,000.00 per year
